We had an amazing turn out to R-EXPO 2020, our most successful repairs and maintenance event ever. The response to the conversations, product spotlights and inspirational speakers has been truly exceptional.
Our partners, Thirteen Group, did an outstanding presentation on their inspiring and award winning digital transformation journey. Stephanie Lawlor, Head of Repairs at Thirteen Group explained how they revolutionised their repairs and maintenance service over 3 years to produce some very impressive results from surpassing targets of 98% in ‘Right First Time’ repairs fixes, improving Customer Satisfaction to 92.8%, reducing the average time to complete a repair to 5.8 days to saving £500k on sub-contractor spend by bringing more jobs in-house. Stephanie also explained how they managed to cope with repairs during this years initial nationwide lockdown. Judging by the number of questions asked at the Q&A section and the direct feedback received, delegates were very impressed with what they heard and many went on to ask Thirteen more detailed questions on how they produced such great results and what their plans were for 2021 and beyond.
The final presentation of the day was from Lauren Rowles, Paralympic gold medallist who talked about her incredible journey from being an able bodied 12 year old to coming to terms with being paralysed, facing many other physical and mental health challenges before going on to achieve her dream of becoming a Paralympic rowing gold medallist. There weren’t many dry eyes after her speech!
