Every tenant in the UK deserves to live in a safe, well-maintained home. This fundamental right shouldn’t be influenced by the size of a housing association or the depth of a council’s budget. It’s this belief that drives my vision for ROCC’s software, where not only organisations with the deepest pockets can afford the best software.

At ROCC, we are fully committed to scaling our solutions to ensure that our market-leading software is accessible to all housing associations and councils, regardless of their finances. 

Too often, I’ve come across smaller housing organisations that are forced to adopt below-par systems because they simply can’t afford the more advanced software solutions that larger entities enjoy. This imbalance leads to gaps in service and efficiency, which ultimately harms tenants who face delays in critical repairs and maintenance. This isn’t just unacceptable from a technical perspective, but also a failure of fairness.

When a tenant urgently needs maintenance work at their property, it’s not just an inconvenience; it’s a matter of safety and security. Whether it’s a faulty heating system or a burst pipe, the onus is on housing associations to provide timely, efficient repairs to avoid delays and unnecessary hardship. Tenants need to feel safe in their homes.

Caring for the community matters. So, when I hear stories about vulnerable tenants not receiving the level of service they deserve, it has a profound impact on me. It’s these instances that remind me why it’s so important we continue to invest heavily in expanding the reach of our solutions at ROCC.

My vision for ROCC’s software is simple but powerful –  to level the playing field for all housing associations and councils, no matter their size or budget. I want our software to empower every housing organisation in the UK to deliver the best possible service to their tenants, without having to worry excessively about their purse strings.

By equipping housing providers with robust, intuitive, and cost-effective software solutions, we can make a difference where it matters the most. For me, it’s all about the lives behind the data.

This journey is long and requires significant investment in time and money, but we won’t take any shortcuts. My expert-driven team at ROCC and I are constantly refining and innovating our software to ensure that it’s best-in-class, adaptable and affordable. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that even the smallest housing associations and councils can operate at the same level of efficiency and success as the largest organisations.
