Uniclass Waste Management is an advanced software solution designed to streamline the administration of kerbside collections and street cleansing operations.

UWM helps meet the challenges of improving frontline services cost effectively by providing up-to - date information on rounds, appointments, jobs, properties and assets. UWM acts as a 'hub' through which all data flows and from which all reports are generated.

The solution removes current paper based processes, increasing the speed of response to citizen enquiries, enabling office and mobile staff to have all relevant information at their finger tips, and ensure that the Council can report accurately on operations.
UWM functionality includes:

  • Contact centre for call management and job/enquiry creation
  • Mobile solutions for real-time communication between office based and mobile teams
  • Domestic collections including rounds management, one-off jobs, bin management, missed bins, bins-not-presented, contaminated bins, etc
  • Trade waste including the processing of duty of care certificates, waste transfer notes, contracts and ‘stop lists’
  • Special/bulky collections including scheduling, appointments and vehicle capacity
  • Clinical waste including a confidential database
  • Street cleansing including BVPI 199 inspections and rounds
  • Satellite Navigation / Weighbridge / Bin or Truck Weighing / Bar Coding / RFID integration
  • Cesspool Management
  • Invoicing (including split billing) / Payments
