ROCC Implementation and Support services
ROCC provides a comprehensive portfolio of services including
Project Management, Training, Business and Systems Analysis,
Technical consultancy, Database Administration and Application
support. These services can be offered as part of an overall
systems implementation or discretely as part of an external
project. A brief description of each service is listed below:
Project Management
ROCC has developed a set of project standards and procedures
based closely on Prince 2. These are formalised whilst allowing
a practical application which is appropriate to the size of the
project.
ROCC’s expertise spans all elements of the project lifecycle
from initiation through to study, delivery and finally to
closure of the project and handover to support.
A comprehensive range of project control mechanisms covering
project initiation, change control, risk management and project
monitoring and feedback are in place to ensure time and
budgetary targets are achieved.
Training
ROCC have had many years experience in proving training
services. The training is specifically tailored to individual
requirements and wherever possible uses the customers data and
reflects local procedures
Training is delivered in small groups of 4 to give a hands on
approach and is usually provided using a cascade method, on-site
at the organist ions offices
Business and Systems Analysis
ROCC is able to provide a quality service to fully integrate the
ROCC software with other corporate systems and to tailor the
core systems to meet individual customer requirements. Often
this will start at an analysis of business processes and
objectives and will result in the production of technical and
functional specifications which are used as the bases of
developing the required software.
Technical Consultancy and Database Administration
ROCC are a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner and an Oracle
Alliance Partner We are able to provide technical consultancy
over a wide range of topics both on-site and remotely from the
office.
ROCC DBA services can be supplied both over Microsoft and Oracle
technologies and often negates the need to maintain skills
in-house and reduces unforeseen system problems whilst ensuring
system performance is optimised and continuity of service is
maintained.

Application Support & Maintenance
ROCC provides a comprehensive support helpdesk service from its
head office in Brighton. The helpdesk is staffed by dedicated
helpdesk professionals who are experts in the applications
supplied. ROCC are able to connect remotely to the customers
system via secure VPN in order to investigate any issues and
apply resolutions
In addition to the above the systems are continuously being
improved and advanced and ROCC are able to provide enhanced
versions of its applications on a regular basis as part of this
service.
