Guildford Borough Council 'go live'
with Uniclass Waste Management softwareROCC have
supplied Guildford Borough Council a web-based Waste Management
software Solution. The hub of the solution is a citizen-facing
contact centre which allows citizens to raise any issues they have
regarding their waste, recycling and street cleaning services.
“We are delighted with ROCC’s UWM system and are eager to develop
the system further in the future” – Chris Wheeler, Cleansing
Manager, Guildford Borough Council.
The system also handles all other aspects of the waste management
service including scheduling refuse rounds for both domestic and
trade customers, abandoned vehicles, fly tipping, requests for bulky
and white goods collections, citizen feedback and scheduling other
miscellaneous work requests. The comprehensive diagnostics system
gives detailed reports on problem locations and provides the
mechanisms to address prevention.
The system is fully integrated with other council corporate systems
including finance and the Local Land and Property Gazetteer.
"We are thrilled that our new product has been selected by such a
progressive Local Authority as Guildford Borough Council. We are
currently experiencing an unprecedented interest in our product
offering which is very heartening for the future." - Chris Potter,
Director of UNICLASS, ROCC.
